I'm Dan. I'm an art director who is also a graphic designer that tries to pass off doodles as illustrations. Often I take these fancy doodles into After Effects and turn them into animations. Other times I use Cinema 4D to make 3D models out of them.
People often pay me for this but in some cases I do it for free. This website is a collection of creative solutions to difficult problems that I may or may not have received money for. You could call it a portfolio or "book" if we are talking ad lingo.
Some of these people I made work for are clients. Some of these clients are from my time working in advertising. A few clients I don't know very well. Some of these clients are friends. A couple are friends that I call clients but that makes me feel weird. Like a client can be your friend but for some reason it sounds weird when your friend becomes your client. You know?
What I'm trying to say is that there are a lot of factors at play when it comes to friendship and business. So let's be friends, meet a client, and get down to business.
